Field Structural Engineering Coordinator

Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.Work under supervision and direction of the Construction Project Engineer during the construction, testing and commissioning of structural, architectural and civil systems for combined cycle power plants.  Provide constructability reviews of the structural, architectural and civil design as it progresses in the engineering office.  Work closely with the site CSA Superintendent providing information on the design and specification requirements.  Coordinate problems and solutions between site subcontractors/labor and the design engineer. Review and respond to questions and inquiries related to structural, architectural and civil drawings, lists and specifications and corresponding installation.  Provide technical support for the erection of pre engineered building erection. Initially, the position may be based in Atlanta  for 1 to 2 months, then Albany, New York  Routine travel on domestic projects with the opportunity for an international travel on projects if desired.Qualifications• Experience in the power industry or related industry experience. Graduate Civil or Structural Engineer or equivalent field experience.• Bachelors Degree from accredited college preferred.
