Financial Assistant II

FINANCIAL ASSISTANT II, Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, to provide support for the finance administration office. Duties include processing; data entry; responding to and making telephone inquiries; problem resolution and transaction completions; maintaining research records, files, and account and proposal documentation; monitoring and correcting account transaction activity; and preparing and processing requisitions for research accounts.

REQUIREMENTS: excellent communication skills and experience working with computer-based applications. Preference given to individuals with experience in research accounting and budgeting or to those performing similar tasks. Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to set goals and objectives and meet deadlines. Should demonstrate solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree preferred.
