Prepare hydraulic calculations and project submittals, Prepare stock lists and material requisitions.  Interact with Contractors and A.H.J’s, perform field surveys, coordinate delivery of drawings.  Maintain drawing project files and associated records.    Minimum Qualifications:Ability to pass drug test and background check.High School diploma or GED.Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.Proficiency in using Design Software, Auto-Sprink, Sprink-Cad, or Hydra-Cad.NICET certification Level II minimum. 3 years experience working  as a Fire Sprinkler Designer.Working knowledge of NFPA, local codes and Insurance Company requirements.Proficiency in using  HASS and/or Sprink-Calc for hydraulic calculations.Excellent organization and communication skills.   Only candidates who possess the above minimum qualifications will be considered. SimplexGrinnell offers excellent compensation and benefits program, including educational assistance, employee stock plan and matching 401(K) plan.For consideration, please send your resume to hwunderlich@simplexgrinnell.com , fax to 801-703-2702 or apply in person at 2702 S. 1030 W.  #60 SLC UT. SimplexGrinnell is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
