Manage the Unified Assurance GeoProbe Product Line. Coordination of all company activities with respect to customer requirements, product specification development, ensure product development meets requirements, provide technical support to sales, and oversee the delivery of new products and versions to the customer.



This is a product line management position that requires expert technical background in order to understand and prioritize product requirements and issues that arise. Must have at least 7 years product line management experience and TCP/IP and IP network and service management experience along with either a BSCS or BSEE.



Written and verbal communications skills are important. Inter-personal communications are also very important. Must be a driver, but also a consensus builder. Must have hardware, software, or systems development experience. Detailed knowledge of several of the following is highly valued:


• Software architecture and scalability for a distributed, real-time system. This could include but not limited to OAM&P and/or FCAPS.
• TCP/IP and IP Networking and services including the following: IPV4/V6 Routing protocols, L2/L3 transport setup and performance management, IP applications performance management, SNMP, packet capture and analysis, deep packet inspection, and triple play service management.
• OSS integration
• A proven proficiency in troubleshooting network problems
• 25% travel


Previous experience could be from:


• Network operator
• Network equipment vendor
• Test & Measurement or equipment vendor
• Consultancy projects
