Lear Siegler Services, Inc. (LSI) is immediately hiring qualified H-60 Aircraft Plane Captains in support of U.S. Navy aircraft maintenance operations at NAS North Island, CA.High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum three (3) years actual and recent organizational level aircraft flightline servicing experience is required. Must have completed military aviation maintenance training or maintenance technical school curriculum or possess an FAA issued A&P license.Prior experience with U.S. Navy servicing operations on SH-60B and HH-60R rotary aircraft highly preferred.Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory.Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks. May be required to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check. Job Description : The Aircraft Worker makes repairs to aircraft following orders of higher grade worker, assists in troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems, removes, cleans, reinstalls, or replaces defective parts, accessories, and components such as worn gaskets, couplings, and fittings, bad actuators, accumulators, gauges, sections of corroded fuel and oil lines, This worker may supervise the jacking and towing of aircraft, makes adjustments and settings such as cable tension and seat movement settings and adjustments; obtains standard parts such as fuel and oil line connections and fittings, cable linkage, and spark plug cables and harnesses by referring to parts manuals and by making comparisons with samples, may perform pre-flight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, enter in the maintenance records description of the work performed, and services engines and aircraft components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.To be considered, candidates must submit a resume directly online at www.urs.apply2jobs.com referencing job requisition number EGG28294.For more information please call 1-800-999-1770HJLSI06 : : EOE M/F/D/V
