HSE Specialist Sr. ROCK SPRINGS, WY USOverview: Baker Atlas, a division of Baker Hughes Inc., has an immediate opening for a HSE Sr. Specialist for our Rocky Mountain Region. While this position is slated for Rock Springs, WY, it can be strategically located anywhere within the Rocky Mountain Region, so relocation is not mandatory if you reside in the Rocky Mountain Region. Responsibilities: Conducts safety and/or environmental audits and inspects facilities within geographic area of responsibility to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory laws. Conducts orientations, visits work sites, and distributes literature to implement and promote safety and/or environmental policies and procedures. Analyzes and interprets scientific and technical journals, financial reports and regulatory documents. Develops procedures based on regulatory and/or client requirements. Presents information and responds to questions or concerns from employees, managers, clients and the general public. Responds to inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies and/or community groups. May assist or train lower level specialists. Handles special projects, as assigned. Skill Requirements: Thorough understanding of regulations and the regulatory process. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management. Ability to travel 50% of the time within the US and occasionally Canada. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 5+ years experience.
