Description:ResponsibilitiesInstall and service central air-conditioning systems and a variety of refrigeration equipment. (Air Handlers, Chillers, Package units, Cooling towers (closed and open looped) and Condenser Units)Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers instructions to install motors, compressors, condensing units, evaporators, piping, and other components. Diagnose the problem and make repairs to air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment by testing parts such as compressors, relays, and thermostats. Inspect the systems and do required maintenance to ensure dependability and efficiency.Follow best practices for safety and environmental industry standards, OSHA and EPA.Utilize refrigerant recovery and re-usage systems in HVAC and Refrigerant systems.Manage EMS (Energy Management System) to maintain proper building conditions.About the OpportunityMaintain, diagnose, and correct problems throughout the entire heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems by adjusting system controls to recommended settings and testing the performance of the entire system using special tools and test equipment.Qualifications:10 plus years HVAC experience.Must have experience and be adept at using variety of hand and power tools, voltage meters, recovery equipment, and other HVAC equipment.Heavy experience in Chillers, Air Handlers, Pumps, and Cooling Towers.
