Hardware Engineer

GoBackTV is developing next-generation video-over-IP systems for the broadband industry.  We have a small, focused team with years of experience in the industry and are looking to add a hardware engineer with DOCSIS experience to the team.

You will be responsible for the following requirements:

· Good soldering skills, experience with boards containing both RF and digital components.

· Ability to use ORCAD schematic capture tools, Layout tools like PADs and Allegro.

· Some mechanical engineering skills, such as hands on modification of boards, enclosures, racks for prototype development.

· Basic electrical engineering skills and a desire to become a PCB designer.

· Good organizational skills to manage and participate in the build process for several boards and enclosures at the same time.

· Audit bills of materials for changes.

· Electrical engineering skills and PCB layout design skills.

· Participation in design of boards for manufacturability.

· Good written communication skills.
