Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.You will function as a Highway Project Manager on bridge, roadway, highway and interchange projects involving multidisciplinary project teams.The Highway Project Manager position requires a Project Manager with name recognition with clients in the Bay Area, knows local clients and Caltrans and has successfully delivered projects. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the clients' organizations and will have relationships with staff at all levels within the organization. This position also requires understanding of the competitors' strengths and weaknesses.A proven track record with successful selling, winning and completion of projects of various sizes and complexity is desired, as well as the ability to evaluate the clients needs, and issues, and deliver solutions. Experience working with sales teams to develop a strategy, proposals, and presentations for project pursuits is a must.Specific responsibilities include leadership in the application of CH2M HILL’s Project Delivery System to achieve the following project delivery strategic objectives:(1) Health, safety, environmental responsibility (2) Client expectations for quality, schedule, and budget (3) Financial performance for project-specific targets (5) Project team expectations (6) Operational performance and business unit expectations (7) Quality. Specific duties include planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and coordination of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff.
