Human Resource Generalist

Gilsanz Murray Steficek, a growing 100 person structural engineering and building envelope consulting firm, is seeking its first Human Resource professional, to be based in New York City. Experience and proven effectiveness in Employee Relations/ Engagement, Employment and Performance Management.  BS/BA and 4 to 6 years of HR experience OR 7 years experience in HR field and PHR OR similar combination is needed.  PHR and experience with professional service firms preferred.  Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with all employees, proven collaborative skills, work experience with diverse population and strong knowledge of human resource principles essential.  Effective prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines is a must.  Competence with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and human resources management software a must.
