In addition, they will develop control applications to interface with various components of fuel delivery and vehicle control systems. They will Interface with engineering and business personnel on a regular basis. Minimum Requirements: 4 year Degree in Computer Science Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to express complex technical concepts Planning, analysis, design, testing and documentation of software for industrial applications. Maintain and upgrade existing software  Actively seek new ways to yield improved efficiencies  Must be able to conceptualize and take design concepts to completion Help rectify any functional or operational discrepancies with systems or subsystems Provide customer support in diagnosing malfunctions with equipment or upgrade installations Provide technical leadership relating to computer hardware and software Interface with engineering and business personnel Experience Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency of troubleshooting techniques and detail-oriented problem diagnosis. Strong Java and/or C++ . Real time programming experience. Development experience in Linux/Unix. Experience programming of PLCs and other low level devices. Experience with controlling industrial hardware (pumps, valves, meters…) Knowledge of TCP/IP. Understanding and experience with RS232 and 485 communication protocols.
