Their employees are given the chance to design and build the career they have been searching for.  Industrial Engineer – Southbridge, MA- 00210    GENERAL SUMMARY -   Provides Industrial Engineering support to all manufacturing areas, including plant layout, work flow, methods, and manpower/capacity planning.  Also responsible for accurate product costing, maintenance of engineering documentation, and customer quotations.  PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepares and maintains process documentation, bills of material, and labor standards for accurate product costs. Provides input and assistance in the areas of layout, methods, workflow and fixturing to manufacturing engineers or supervisors working in capital equipment projects, new product introductions, and process/product improvements. Develops work measurement data, conducts motion-time studies, and reviews and recommends material handling procedures for establishment of manufacturing standards. Performs operation analysis on new and existing methods and processes for the purpose of process improvements. Assists manufacturing supervision in the review of manufacturing performance against standard with the intent to develop and implement plans for improvement. Assists in manpower and capacity planning to meet marketing forecasts. Develops product costs for customer quotations. Performs other duties of a similar nature as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS: B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience. One year in Industrial Engineering or related field is required. Three years in Industrial Engineering or related field in an industrial setting is preferred. Be accurate and complete with detail work. Be able to organize, plan and set priorities. Be a problem solver. Effective communication skills: listening, writing, speaking and oral presentations. Able and willing to work with others on a team. Self-motivated and results oriented. Ability to work with all personnel within the organization.
