Industrial Hygiene Technician

Key Responsibilities

· Provide consultation in Occupational Health Risk Management onsite at Tinker Air Force Base.

· Will conduct industrial hygiene, safety and occupational health evaluations and technical assessments.

· Provide technical support to office personnel on Environmental Safety and Occupational Health related Issues.

· Responsible for performing tasks and completing projects of moderate size and complexity.

· Complete technical assignments (both field & office).

· Assist in the preparation of Health Risk Assessments.

· Assist in performing IH surveys and inputting data into government IH databases.

· Will operate Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Equipment.

· Use Computer Databases and Office Programs (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word)

 

Basic/Required Qualifications

· US Citizen or permanent work status.

· AS degree in Industrial Hygiene, or related science field or Air Force Bioenvironmental Engineering formal training.

· BS degree in Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Health and Safety a plus.

· Experience with conducting Industrial Hygiene surveys.

· 1 year+ of Industrial Hygiene/Environmental Health and Safety Experience.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.

· Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
