We are currently seeking an Outside Salesperson in our Industrial Sales Division within Columbia, Missouri. This position is responsible for developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships within the Central Missouri market area.  This individual will need to be able to work autonomously and be a self starter. 



Required skills:

Knowledge of Rockwell Automation Industrial Sales highly desirable. Previous experience in Automation Controls sales preferred.  We will also consider prior experience with technology sales and large equipment sales. Proven track record of sales success to Industrial customers. Must be able to handle a variety of customer interactions professionally. Excellent communication skills, self-directed follow-up and a desire to succeed are required. Must be able to show a proven history of commitment to outstanding sales and customer service. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma required. Knowledge/aptitude with personal computers. 

Job Description:

· Make direct sales calls on assigned accounts.

· New account generation in geographic areas served. 

· Maintain an accurate log of all activities and expenses. 

· Perform joint sales and marketing activities with all StrategicVendor Partners.
