The successful candidate will have a very sound knowledge of industrial water/wastewater treatment in the mining and oil and gas industries. This person needs to be able to provide project management, business development and technical leadership to multi-discipline teams assembled to bring innovative solutions to industrial water/wastewater problems. The individual must be competent in delivering design projects involving wastewater chemistry and treatment of mining and/or oil and gas industry wastewaters. Desirable subject matter expertise includes the conceptual through detailed design, process optimization, construction, and system operations of: mining wastewater treatment, oil and gas water/wastewater treatment, and sound understanding of regulatory discharge limits.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple small to mid-sized projects (possibly large design/build opportunities), while contributing to client development activities through strong leadership of CH2M HILL water and process market segment team and successful delivery of water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated consulting project execution success on permitting, consulting, studies and/or design projects for industrial clients in the mining, petrochemical and/or oil & gas/refining industries.The successful candidate must demonstrate industry, subject matter and service expertise within our water & process market, business, operations and project delivery process and objectives. Responsibilities include ensuring the best technical and business solutions for our client and integrating industrial, subject matter and service expertise, providing front line to risk management for our company. This candidate will be responsible for managing multiple small to mid-size projects up to single large design-build type projects. Services supported include water/wastewater technology, permitting and compliance.QualificationsEducation: BS Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline Years of Experience: 10 years Primary Skills: Experience in Project Management, conceptual and detailed design of chemical/physical wastewater treatment technology, general industrial water systems technology as applied to mining and oil and gas industries. Client development skills, and strong written/verbal communications are essential for this position.
