Provide technical support and oversight as part of a program team's system engineering effort for Information Assurance design and development, including security architecture analysis, security requirements definition and allocation, and identification of potential security vulnerabilities. Requires generation of security-related documentation and leading system architecture design in a team environment. Background in High Assurance COMSEC and COMPUSEC requirements and techniques required. Support for new security related business development, including proposals, white papers, and presentations, as well as interfacing with Government customers, is required.  Join our team in Marlborough, Massachusetts and help to continue ViaSat’s growth and leadership in the communications field.The Marlborough Engineering Center is an extension of ViaSat’s Carlsbad, California engineering office. The Marlborough Engineering Center has doubled in size recently and ViaSat is looking for an individual who is excited about the challenges and responsibilities associated with such growth, and a person who is eager to help accelerate this growth. Experience/Skills Required The successful candidate will have 8+ years system security design experience, including design for TEMPEST, QUADRANT, and key generator embedment. Working knowledge of Type 1 certification and documentation requirements (UIC) is required, and knowledge of Common Criteria or FIPS 140-2 requirements is highly desirable. Familiarity with HAIPIS and/or IPsec/IKE security specifications is also desired. CME/Security Advocate training a plus. Candidate must have current active clearance (secret or above) or have held an active clearance (secret or above) within the past two years. BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics. MS degree in engineering or related science a plus. Some travel required.
