Integrated Logistics Analyst

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/ Logistics/ Computer Science. Two years of specialized experience may be substituted for each year of the degree requirement.Work Experience: Ten years of job-related specialized experience is required. Specific experience in Technical Documentation development and implementation as well as previous NAVSEA program office support experience is desired. Job-related experience or equivalent in U.S. military shipboard electronics, electrical or mechanical systems design and analysis, or operation and maintenance, and related task accomplishment is beneficial. Special Skills: Organizational skills, personnel leadership and management skills, and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Self-motivated, possess analytical skills and be customer-oriented. Candidate must have the ability to clearly communicate ideas to others verbally and in writing. Well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Experience in technical writing and editing is a plus. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance Job Description : Function as a senior team member comprised of EG&G and Subcontractor personnel that provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) acquisition, planning and coordination support to the Command and Control Directorate for the Program Executive Officer for Integrated Warfare Systems, PEO IWS6.0. Position requires performing tasks and development of ILS products primarily in support of the Cooperative Engagement Capability program and related sensor netting projects within the Directorate. As part of the ILS team support effort may also be required on Navy Navigation Systems, and Navy Displays/ Processors equipment supported by PEO IWS6.0. Support tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to: 1) Developing and Reviewing Integrated Logistics Support products associated with weapons system acquisition; e.g. Acquisition Logistics Support Plans, Training System Plans; 2) ILS product review; 3) Resolution of PEO IWS Logistics issues; 4) Supporting PEO IWS Logistics Branch correspondence and action items; 5) Participating in and coordinating Integrated Logistics Support oversight, direction, and guidance meetings; 6) Working directly with the Government ILS Manager in developing and implementing logistics product workflow processes and procedures; and 7) Evaluating Navy Field Activity logistics efforts and funding requirements. In addition, will be responsible for supporting the following initiatives 1) Horizontal Process Integration; 2) Performance Based Logistics; 3) DMSMS; 4) IUD/RFID; and 5) Technical Data Management. Position requires daily interface with customer and subcontractors for the coordination of logistics support requirements and associated tasks with Navy Participating Managers, Field Activities, other Navy support activities and prime contractors. : : EOE M/F/D/V
