Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.CH2M HILL is currently seeking a Jr Buyer for a full time position at our client's manufacturing site in Evendale, OH. Position based at industrial/manufacturing customer site. Responsibilities include: under supervision, review, verify, and follow-up on purchase orders to ensure materials, equipment, tools, and other supplies are manufactured, shipped, and/or delivered as required by client specifications and schedule. Support designated procurement specialists as required.KEY DUTIES: Inspect materials received for quality, quantity, and adherence of required specifications Review purchase orders to determine items being manufactured and/or delivered, scheduled shipping date, destination, priority of order, and receipt Contact suppliers by mail, email, telephone, or personal visit to verify production schedule, adherence to engineering specifications and required delivery date Expedite submittal process to support design and construction schedule Communicate, as necessary, to correct any delays Arrange for storage and/or distribution of materials upon arrival, as required Contact suppliers to requisition material within scope of authority Review project or jobsite receiving reports for completeness and accuracy Input data into spreadsheet, word processing, or other database formats Maintain assigned department and project documentation files Assist with other procurement functions as required by supervisor QualificationsMinimum 2 years in a procurement role.
