Junior-level Process Engineer

N. A. Water Systems, LLC, a Division of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS) is currently seeking a Junior-level Process Engineer to work in our Moon Township, PA office.



 

The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to Senior Process Engineers in the development of cost-effective, innovative process designs for Industrial wastewater treatment and Industrial process water production projects. 

 

This position requires an individual who is knowledgeable in water and wastewater treatment including; biological, physical/chemical as well as other treatment processes and can provide support in process definition and process conceptualization for treatment of industrial wastewater and production of industrial process water.

 

Other duties include:

Development of flow and mass balances;

Development of process flow diagrams and P&ID’s;

Process equipment sizing/selection;

Development of utility requirements for treatment facilities;

Preparation of technical reports and equipment specifications;

Coordination/review of preliminary/final design documents, proposals and vendor submittals;

 

A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering is required, a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred.

 

A minimum of 1-2 years applicable experience required: a background in water chemistry along with the associated knowledge of the treatment of Industrial process water and wastewater treatment.  Knowledge of facility operations is beneficial, and a willingness to travel is required (10-15%).
