Chevron Products Company is accepting online applications for the position of Process Engineering Lead located in Pascagoula, MS through May 16, 2008.Overview:The Process Engineering Lead manages all Process Engineering support for 1-2 Area Business Units in the Pascagoula Refinery, supervising 4 – 11 direct reports. Qualifications:Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:Functional Service and Support: Accountable for delivery of all Process Engineering support for 1-2 Area Business Units including turn-around planning and execution support. Individual contributions include specific process engineering analyses, Area Business Unit decision support, process engineering tool development/sponsorship, and leadership for inter-area optimization opportunities.Resource Management:• Serves as a member of the Process Engineering Leadership Team. • Determines the most effective utilization of assigned resources. • Manages ranking and salary administration for employees.• Establishes clear expectations and performance standards and deploys Company personnel policies and programs. Coaches, mentors and counsels subordinates and insures their individual development.• PMP supervisor for 4 - 11 Process Engineers. Strategic Support:• Participates in establishing and managing Area Business Units OpEx budget.• Participates in establishing and implementing Area Business Units Capital program.• In association with peers in Process Control and Operations Coordination/Planning, insures implementation of optimized oils plan.Required (Basic) Qualifications:- B.S. Chemical Engineering - In lieu of a ChE degree, consideration will be given to those candidates who possess 5 years minimum experience in a refinery Process Engineering, Process Control and/or Planning role.Preferred Qualifications:Relocation Options:Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.International Considerations:Expatriate assignments will not be considered at this time.
