Lean Mfg Engineer - Growing Company!

LEAN MFG ENGINEER - GROWING COMPANY  $ 53-70K Plus bonus Due to solid sales and repeat business, client currently has a need for a Lean/Mfg Engineer with 2-5+ years experience in a manufacturing facility.  Requires a related Bachelors degree in engineering such as BSME, BSIE, BSIT, or related.   Duties and responsibilities: 1. A background in process improvements, increasing efficiencies, reducing waste, improving work cells, etc.  2. Involved in lean manufacturing programs, kaizens, continuous improvements, 5S programs, cost reduction initiatives, etc. 3. A background or working knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma, ability to work on multiple projects, in a team environment, etc. 4. Strong project management and program management skills. 5. Continually develop methods to eliminate waste to save manufacturing costs. 6. Performs process simulations, defines/eliminates constraints, and optimize work flow.  7. Ability to work with all levels from engineering to production, floor employees and executives. 8. Ability to prioritize programs that meet business and company goals. 9. Requires strong problem solving, decision making, PC skills, etc 10.
