Liaison Engineer

 

Job Summary: The Liaison Engineer investigates reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assembly,equipment,or systems to determine the nature and scope of problem. They consult with project engineers as necessary to obtain specialized information and evaluate the findings to formulate corrective action plan and coordinates implementation of plan. They must interpret engineering drawings and facilitate correction of errors on drawings and documents identified during manufacturing operations. The Liaison Engineer serves as member of material review board to determine of defective or damaged parts. Attention to detail required and they must be able to work as part of a cross functional team with manufacturing, and product assurance. Aviation and composite experience desired.

 

Qualifications: BS in mechanical Engineering or equivalent, 0-3 years experience in design/eng work with Pro-Engineer experience desired.
