Logistics Analyst

Education: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Management/Logistics or related field is desired. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college. Minimum of seven years experience managing Navy and/or Coast Guard contracts and logistics. Project Management and DAWIA certifications are a plus. Previous service in USCG or USN is preferred. Experience with USCG shipbuilding, contracting, and ILS processes is a plus. Position will require travel. Work Experience Field: Program Management and ILS management for USCG Cutter HM&E and C4ISR systems in support of Deepwater program objectives. Special Skills: Must have excellent written and oral communications skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Access. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Job Description : This position is contingent upon award of the US Coast Guard's Fast Response Cutter - Class B (FRCB) contract expected to start in 2nd Quarter 2008 time frame. This individual will be EG&G's assistant to the ILS manager for the FRC-B contract and will serve as the senior on-site representative at the shipyard in Pascagoula MS. Responsibilities include coordination, direction, oversight, and leadership for EG&G's Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team for the Hull Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems aboard the US Coast Guard's newest class of Cutter. Additionally, the individual will provide on-site coordination and liaison with senior Government, USCG, shipyard, and contractor personnel. As a key figure during establishment of the FRC-B program, this individual will assist in rapidly establishing EG&G's ILS support using known, proven processes that meet the ILS needs of the FRC-B and the contract requirements. : : EOE M/F/D/V
