MTS Design (Mixed Signal IC Design) 3425

Responsible for the design of high performance ICs for the networking market.  Chip functions to be developed include physical layer interface functions and high bandwidth switching components operating at multi-gigabit data rates.  Work in a team oriented environment with project responsibilities that extend from product definition through release to production.  Specific design activities include functional & electrical definition, schematic capture, analog and logic-level simulation, physical design, verification, bench evaluation/characterization support, and test development support.  Strong competency using CAD tools for circuit and logic-level design.  Demonstrated ability to work independently and in small groups.  Experience or coursework in analog design.  1-2 years experience developing ICs for telecommunications or similar application.  Experience with physical design and verification.
