Maintenance Manager DS/ORG
***THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN IRAQ***A minimum of five (5) years general experience and a minimum of three (3) years specific experience in maintenance operations, supervision, inspection, QA, or related areas is required for this position. A high school diploma or GED required. Two plus years of related college or technical school is highly desirable. May substitute related education for experience at the rate of one year of specific education for one year experience. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point. Job Description : The Maintenance Manager is essential to the maintenance operations success. The Manager is the primary interface at each of maintenance work sites, interfacing with KBR Camp Manager, CLSS LNO, Military and LSI Site or PMO office contacts. He/she performs all Maintenance and HR functions related to management, work load analysis, personnel actions, accountability, and payroll for assigned employees. He/she performs full range of duties in the performance of equipment inspection and repair operations. Ensures equipment received is IAW with applicable technical manuals and publications. Interface with military counterpart at DS/BMO offices to schedule requested maintenance and assign workload. Manager ensures assigned personnel are not moved between work sites without direction approval from LSI PMO as directed by KBR CLSS management. Administer LSI HR policies as directed by PMO and HR office to include performance evaluations, counseling, Leave scheduling and time accounting. Implement and maintain shop safety program. Provides daily work assignment to subordinate leaders assigned to work center. The Maintenance Manager reports to the Site Manager. Responsibilities Supervise all maintenance operations IAW with contract, LOTD, and LSI company polices Hold the hand-receipt for all shop tools, vehicles, shop and administrative equipment assigned. Prepare and report daily personnel accountability. Review and schedule all request for R&R, LWOP, and Emergency leave. Attend all meetings scheduled by local KBR and Military POC and prepare and report action items to upper management. Review and analyze work load based on updated customer personnel and equipment density reports. Prepare and conduct weekly safety training. Prepare and transmit Weekly Activity Report (WAR) to Site Manager and/or LSI PMO office. Manage and report petty cash transactions and pay advances. Ensure QA/QC program is effective and reported. Review all open job orders daily and give guidance to the maintenance personnel on the required action for each job Review each Shop/Team maintenance register with the Section/Team personnel to discuss actions required and potential conflicts for each open job order. Perform in progress and final inspection of maintenance performed to ensure all quality standards have been met. Prepare LSI QA-1-1 (Quality Assurance Form) and obtain customer signature of acceptance. Interface daily with the Site Manager to keep higher-level management personnel informed of all mission-related requirements/progress and to receive directives as needed. Relay any decisions, which require a higher authority, to the appropriate personnel. Contact customers to pick up completed job orders or bring in equipment retained by the unit but waiting for shop availability. If Foreman receives no response to their notification of the customer; informs higher level of authority. Ensure that customer ordered parts are available to support requested maintenance actions and coordinate any additional parts or POL products required with DS Shop Office/Organizational BMO. Ensure the all assigned work area and tools are secured. Security is provided by KBR in coordination with EG&G/LSI. Interface with DS/BMO production control functions for maintenance and supply actions to include opening and closing of DS/ORG job orders, status changes, and requisition of Class IX repair parts. Ensure that all maintenance facilities are cleaned daily. Provide a clean and safe working environment for all personnel by maintaining neat and orderly maintenance bays and ensuring the presence and serviceability of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, gloves, hearing protection, and eye protection. Direct the turn-in of recoverable items by each section to the Shop/BMO Office Turn-In POC within 72 hours of job completion.The annual income potential for this position is $169,000+ : : EOE M/F/D/V
