This will include occasional after-hours and weekend work as well as being a member of the Network Services on-call rotation.• Work as a consultant with our clients in the Salt Lake City, UT Metro area supporting primarily Microsoft networks, desktops, and servers as necessary.• Manage system and/or network issues to resolution within the client base.• Manage new installations and migrations.• Identify ways to improve our clients’ systems and infrastructure (upgrades to hardware, software, network).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Provide daily monitoring and management of CH2M Hill Managed Services on-site managed servers.2) Performs routine troubleshooting and maintenance on computers, monitors, and peripherals.3) Capable of setting up new equipment and installing all operating software4) Assists in the short and long term planning and implementation of the clients Information Systems development.5) Responsible for the operation, scheduling and maintenance of client network workstations, workstation hardware/software troubleshooting repair function.6) Responsible for the operation, scheduling and maintenance of client network servers, server hardware/software troubleshooting repair function.7) Assists in training of required network applications throughout the client organization.8) Maintains updated knowledge of software/hardware to assure the proper implementation and service of client workstations.9) Manage all IT assets and licensing; track inventory and maintain system documentation.10) Manage system backups; ensure integrity of company data and recovery of systems and data.11) Document all systems upgrades, patches, changes and procedures.12) Manage client system projects from inception to completion.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 13) Participates effectively as a team member through communication, cooperation, information sharing and problem solving.14) Assists in other areas as directed by supervisor. Maintains complete and accurate records of work performed.15) Any other tasks or duties as assigned.Qualifications5 to 7 years of progressive proven hands-on computer networking and systems engineering experience.
