Metals and Minerals;Engineering Services;Other/Not Classified Location: Pineville, WV 24874 Job Type: Full Time, Employee JOB DESCRIPTION Cleveland-Cliffs Pinnacle Mining Company, located in Wyoming County, is seeking a highly-motivated and professional:Manager - Environmental The Manager - Environmental provides leadership and on site operational support, environmental guidance, and champions all aspects of Cleveland-Cliffs Environmental Programs for Pinnacle Mining Company LLC. Responsibilities include:* Ensure day-to-day facility environmental compliance with applicable Federal, State and local rules and regulations* Responsible for timely response and submittal of all facility permit required activities* Provide leadership and guidance that establishes safe, compliant, sustainable operating practices* Champion environmental operating practices that embody Cleveland-Cliffs Environmental Policy and energetically support its growth as a leader in environmental stewardship in the mining industry * Actively interface with local operations to ensure environmental tasks and responsibilities are appropriately implemented and documented* Develop compliance programs and procedures consistent with regulatory requirements and corporate policy* Represent the facility at meetings and plan reviews with regulatory agencies Successful candidate will have:* 5+ years' applicable experience in environmental compliance * Bachelor's degree in environmental, engineering or related field* Working knowledge of coal operations, preferred* Up-to-date knowledge of applicable environmental regulations* Working familiarity with management systems in general and ISO 14001 in specific* Excellent communication skills We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including bonus, pension, matching 401(k), relocation assistance and medical/dental/prescription coverage.
