Manager, Site Operations

Client Company, a well known Environmental Consulting and Remediation Company with offices coast to coast, seeks an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead their Exton, PA office including the management of a 40+ person staff, develop and acquire client relationships, and oversee office financials.




Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversees office financials including: profitability, cash flow, growth, and meeting revenue projections, developing levels of effort, evaluating budgets vs. plans, analyzing cost control efficiencies, reducing variances, and meeting utilization and productivity goals Identifies new local business opportunities and develops strategies to capitalize on those opportunities Works closely with Regional Operations Manager and the Sr. Vice President of Operations to ensure all office goals and objectives are met or exceeded Provides high level technical and problem solving consultation on complex projects, serving as the primary customer contact on high level projects May provide senior review and approval to project data, documents and deliverables to ensure technical, regulatory  requirements and goals are adhered to, as well as, ensures company and client QA/QC standards are met Evaluates office staff workloads and redistributes work assignments as appropriate Conducts regular direct report meetings to review current and future projects, discuss current project issues and identify business opportunities, discuss personnel issues, and establish clear expectations, direction and follow up proceduresManages the Performance Management Process through team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions for all direct reports, and conducts annual performance reviews for each direct report

Skills/Requirements: Must have the ability to confidently interact with senior management (Regional Operations Manager and Sr. VP Operations) B.S. Degree in Geology, Engineering or an applicable scientific discipline and at least 10+ years of related experience or a M.S. Degree with 8+ years of related experience. Present experience managing an environmental consulting office of at least 10 employees is preferred. Must have Environmental Petroleum Industry experience. Industrial business development experience is a plus Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred. (PA &DE) Must have excellent employee relations skills and be able to identify, address, and resolve issues in a timely manner, be a leader with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Must possess excellent communication, time management, financial, organizational, problem solving, assessment, technical writing, analytical and coaching skills
