Manufacturing Engineer ENTRY LEVEL Quality thru Precision The J.L. French Corporation, a global manufacturer of aluminum die casted parts and engineered assemblies for the automotive industry, is looking to fill the position of Manufacturer Engineer at its Sheboygan, WI headquarters. Sheboygan, located 45 minutes north of Milwaukee on the scenic shores of Lake Michigan, supports a quality of lifestyle that is hard to beat. Responsibilities will include managing capital equipment and tooling projects relative to machining, part washing, assembling, gauging and packaging; developing engineering estimates for engineering changes including weight, tool cost, piece price and lead time; maintaining J.L. French Corp. specifications and standards for all purchased equipment and tooling; and providing product design input to designers and feasibility assessment as related to good manufacturing practices and robust product design. Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience in machining process in a high volume environment, CNC machining and programming background is an added plus, as is technical knowledge of customer specific requirements/procedures, GDT, SPC, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA and QS 9000.
