Special Products Company, located in Golden, Colorado, is one of the world's major suppliers of tractor 3-point linkage parts and farm accessories.  In addition, we are one of the leading manufacturers of tractor-mounted post hole diggers and hydraulic log splitters. 



Special Products Company is presently seeking a qualified candidate, to fill a Manufacturing Process Engineer position located at Corporate office in Golden, Colorado. 



The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for managing specific projects and assignments required to service manufacturing and warehouse operations to achieve desired production rates and quality standards.  Responsible for championing and leading Lean initiatives supporting the company’s strategic and operating goals.  Recommendations for continuous improvement using our strategic goal initiatives are critical for the success of the position.



Knowledge: Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Six Sigma analyses including JIT, MTM, TQM, VSM, identification of non-value added activities and elimination of waste., Must be able to successfully manage projects from inception to completion

Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate complex, ambiguous business problems or technical issues and provide well thought out solutions. Demonstrated ability to think critically; to be flexible and adaptable while responding to the changing business environment and demands as well as anticipate and influence changes. Demonstrated ability to identify high level user requirements and ensure that system/process improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.  Ability to write a Business Case including costs and benefits.
