They are a global developer, manufacturer and marketer of lubricant additives used primarily in automotive, heavy-duty diesel and marine engines, along with additives for fuels and refineries. Their customers are oil companies and other lubricant and fuel marketers. Manufacturing Process Specialist  Position Summary: Responsibilities span from supporting/improving existing operations to commercializing new products and processes. The successful candidate will initially work in the Antioxidant/Antiwear Department.Responsibilities: Support existing global manufacturing operations. Examples include management of non-conforming product and root-cause elimination, project reviews, plant trials and approval of new raw materials. Facilitate the global sharing of best practices. Identify and facilitate opportunities for product and process improvement and cost reduction. Interface with the internal R&D teams, other company plants, 3rd party suppliers, and toll processors on product and process improvement opportunities. Implement new product and process technology. Work closely with R&D and the plants to commercialize new products. Requirements: Teamwork and effective communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Good understanding how new technology is translated from R&D to commercial operations. Candidates should possess the technical skills to lead activities associated with bringing forward new products and processes. Manufacturing plant experience is required. Experience in an engineering role is preferred.
