Location: Redwood City, CA 94063 JobRefCode: 14-2008 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Experience: 5+ to 7 Years       Job Description   Job Description: Purpose of Job:  This person will do preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and help with improvements on manufacturing equipment Desired Educations, Experience, and Skills: Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification (6-8 years experience) Understanding of electrical / electronics schematics Hands-on experience and understanding of electrical wiring per the National Electrical Code 2002 (NEC 2002) Knowledge of electrical switch gears (Contractors, relays, timers, breakers) Hands-on experience using instruments like Multi-meter, oscilloscope, megger and tachometer Familiarity with AutoCAD tool Instrumentation knowledge like PID controller, PLC and Motor Drives Troubleshooting PLC equipment Strong hands-on experience with hardware & software configuration Troubleshooting & debugging skills for hardware related issues for PXI, GPIB, DAQ, MODBUS and PLC equipment Familiar with LabVIEW 8.5 application architecture, program and NI PXI based system Familiar with SCADA package, such as RS View Can effectively communicate with operators, engineers and managers both written and oral Send this Job to a Friend View all "Tyco" jobs Learn more about Tyco
