Position Description:The Manufacturing Test Engineer develops processes, equipment and software to test disk array products in a manufacturing environment. He/She works with our design community to implement appropriate test methods for production. He/She will provide support to technical staff in determining root cause of system failures and driving appropriate corrective action through test enhancements, design changes or process modification to prevent defects in disk array components. He/She provides guidance to design community (software and hardware) on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) and Built-in Self Test (BIST) as well as maintaining and promoting test strategy development consistent with technology changes.The ideal candidate will have 3 - 7 years of experience in the following areas:1. Use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and bus dis-assemblers.2. Software development in Java, 'C' or C++ for PC, Unix and Intel microprocessors3. Microsoft Office suite of PC applications - primarily Excel and Word4. Manufacturing assembly and test methods.5.
