Mechanical Designer

HPD, LLC, a division of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS) is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to work in our Desalination Competency Center office in Houston, TX (located near the George Bush International Airport).

 

VWS is the world’s largest Desalination companies and provides both Thermal and Membranes systems worldwide. The Desalination Competency Center supports all our regional offices throughout the Americas.

 

Candidates for this position must have knowledge of the following:

·  General Arrangements; experience in Refinery and/or Chemical plants strongly preferred

·  Piping Layouts

·  Process & Instrumentation Diagrams

·  Water Treatment Plant Design

·  Hydraulic Profiles

 

Candidates must have 5-10 years of related experience and thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD software. 3D Modeling and Autodesk Inventor experience a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
