Mechanical Engineer - Machine Design, Autocad, Solidworks

Working in the R&D department will design new hydraulic injection presses and specialized machinery using both AutoCAD and Solidworks.  May also assist in troubleshooting prototype devices as required.  Must have experience designing hydraulic machinery and proficiency with AutoCAD 2006 and SolidWorks 2007.  Must be able to completely detail all projects, prepare BOM’s, assist with operation manuals, and generate spare part lists.  Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and interact with shop employees during equipment build phase.  Must be willing to travel.  Basic electrical and controls experience a plus.  Experience in design/fabrication of small presses of up to 50 ton capability is highly preferred.
