Yoh Engineering has an immediate contract position available for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in Newark, DE.MECHANICAL ENGINEER’S RESPONSIBILITIES:Successful candidates will work in instrument manufacturing group as an interface to R&D, Commercial Manufacturing Plant and suppliers. Primary duties are to work with cross-functional teams reviewing designs, module assemblies & systems for manufacturability, to develop capable commercial assembly and test processes and to work with vendors on fabrication processes.  SOME TRAVEL IS REQUIRED. REQUIREMENTS:• BS in Mechanical Engineering. • 5+ years experience. • Familiarity with documentation systems (mechanical drawing, GD&T, Bill of Materials, standard operating procedures, CAD systems). • Must possess established manufacturing experience in machining processes, castings, plastic processing (injection molding, thermoforming, and structural foam).  • Familiarity with quality management tools (i.e. SPC) is desirable. • Familiarity with mechanical inspection techniques is desirable. • Must be self-managed and work with minimal supervision. • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required. • Candidates must possess demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications and CAD experience is required.  Knowledge of Unigraphics and SAP/RLM is highly preferred. • Drug screen – 5 panel. • Background check – 5-7 years Misdemeanor and Felony.Yoh Engineering strongly urges all qualified applicants to APPLY NOW for this exciting new opportunity.
