Mechanical Engineer - Rotating Equipment

We currently seek a high caliber Rotating Equipment Engineer. Based in Sugar Land, TX, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals sector.


Job Description:
• Preparing equipment data sheets
• Performing technical and commercial bid evaluations of rotating equipment
• Preparing equipment narrative specifications and RFQs
• Reviewing rotating equipment vendor documentation and preparing purchase order documentation
• Participating in vendor coordination meetings as required
• Responsible for understanding the entire Code of Conduct and complying with its requirements
• Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:
• Detailed knowledge of rotating equipment; Pumps, Compressors and Agitators, including material specification and selection, shaft sealing systems, lube oil systems and driver types
• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience within the petrochemical or power industries
• Full conversance with international codes & standards, including APIs
