INTRODUCTION

We are looking for a senior engineer who has experience completing and managing the design of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems for large technically challenging facility design projects. Your responsibilities with CDM will include:
* Provide technical leadership for and review work completed by junior staff.
* Observe and document budgets and schedules for multiple simultaneous projects
* Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction
* Participate in project coordination with the electrical, structural, process, instrumentation and architectural disciplines
* Prepare engineering studies and reports
* Meet deadlines, quality standards and utilization goals

RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete and manage the design of building mechanical systems for large technically challenging facility design projects, including HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems. Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction
Observe and document budgets and schedules for multiple simultaneous projects
Provide technical leadership for and review work completed by junior staff.
Participate in project coordination with the electrical, structural, process, instrumentation and architectural disciplines
Prepare engineering studies and reports
Meet deadlines, quality standards and utilization goals

REQUIREMENTS



* BSME with 7+ years of experience
* PE required
* Experience managing and/or designing multiple simultaneous facility design projects in water/wastewater, semiconductor, biopharmaceutical and/or other technically complex industrial project types
* Ability to work with and understand P&ID's
* Familiar with NFPA Standards and Building Codes
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* MS office suite and AutoCAD skills required
* Microstation skills desired
