Student (Undergraduate/Graduate) Location: US-OH-Dayton Status: Intern Job Description Mechanical Engineering Co-Op Position Description: In this exciting position located in Dayton, Ohio you will design and develop advanced ink jet print engines from concepts or working prototypes. Any experience with electrical controls, sensors and fluid systems, will only enable your transition in the development, evaluation, and integration of system and component level test designs. Required Skills: Communication, ability to adapt and to complete results independently. A strong desire to understand yourself, and how to succeed as an engineer Ability and desire to work in an interactive team environment Desire to understand the importance of design and production of tight tolerance devices. Knowledge of mechanical fabrication processes, including casting and injection molding, as well as photolithography. Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required for this position coupled with academic experience in experimental and small component design, CAD, and the design of tight tolerance devices. Experience in Statistical Experiment Design, SolidWorks, FEA, electrical controls, and microfabrication are preferred but not required.
