Mechanical / Fire Protection Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical / Fire Protection Engineer to work in our Syracuse, NY headquarters. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Perform risk analyses of major industrial facilities Utilize the latest engineering principles of performance based design Design egress systems based on human behavior and protective components including fire sprinkler and alarm systems, exit and smoke control systems Setting design criteria with a special emphasis on life safety or fire resistivity or specifying automatic detection or extinguishment systems

Skills & QualificationsB.S. Mechanical / Fire Protection 5+ years relevant experience Current P.E. license Passed the Fire Protection Engineering written examination administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveyors (NCEES)
