Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

 

AMEC is an international project management and services company that designs, delivers and supports client assets for customers worldwide across the public and private sectors.  We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer located in our Minneapolis, MN, office.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Minimum 7+ years experience required

· P.E. is a plus

· Must have Mechanical HVAC design experience for Industrial or Manufacturing facilities

· Experience in the design/build and/or retro-fit of Manufacturing or Industrial facilities

· Experience with an engineering consulting firm is a plus

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

· Interprets specifications and investigates problems

· Establishes detailed designs and performance specifications to fulfill the requirements of assigned general specifications for components, systems, processes, etc.

· Recommends changes in plans and estimates costs when necessary

· Coordinates work schedules and prepares progress reports
