Mechanical Heat Transfer Engineer

Client seeks a mechanical engineer to perform heat transfer engineering.Qualifications: * Minimum 15+ years of significant experience in thermal rating shell and tube exchangers and air cooled heat exchangers using HTRI IST program. * Experience with fired heater specification and purchase. * Familiarity with API standards 660, 661 and TEMA. * Familiarity with ASME Sections 1 & 8. * Preparation of equipment specifications and data sheets. Position also requires engineer to write specifications, data sheets and material requisitions for moderately complex and complex equipment for the Petroleum and Chemical industries; * review vendor submittals for compliance with specifications and customer's needs; * coordinate with other disciplines for their input to vendor submittal; * control personal budget, scope and schedule for assigned tasks.
