Mechanical-Piping Engineer

BRASS Engineering International is seeking a Mechanical-Piping Engineer that could work as a consultant in our Santiago, Chile office for a period of one year.

Tasks will include:

-  Set up our Mechanical-Piping Group
-  Establish guidelines, procedures and training as required to align local
engineers to understand various ASME, AWWA and API standards.
-  Provide guidelines for rule-of-thumb design installations.
-  Provide guideline for drawing production.
-  Establish protocol for coordination with various engineering disciplines.
-  Provide peer review to on-going projects.

The engineer must have the following qualifications:

-  Licensed Mechanical Engineer, with PhD preferred.
-  At least with 10 years experience directly related to profession and 5
years as supervisory position in an engineering firm.
-Familiar with ASME, API, and AWWA standards.
-  Familiar with Piping Flexibility calculations.

The remuneration package includes:

-  $168,000.00 annual Gross salary
-  Lodging up to US$ 1,000 per month (including building maintenance fees)
-  Meals of US$ 32.00 per day
-  Travel every 6 months to USA
