Mfg. Quality Control Supervisor

Mfg.Quality Control Supervisor Our client, a reputable equipment and manufacturing company is seeking a well experienced “Quality Control Supervisor” with a refinery background who will assure products meet with ASME, California Jurisdictional and Customer Specifications as well as maintain QA/QC Department’s documents and files. Responsibilities of this position include: Reviewing customer specifications prior to fabrication, identify inspection points and notify customer of scheduled holds for performing inspections. Reviewing final drawings prior to fabrication and notifying the engineering department of any calculation or drawing discrepancies. Preparing and maintaining QC records such as but not limited to Drawings, Material Test Reports, NDE Reports, Welding Procedure Specs, PQR Records, welding operator performance qualifications, welder continuity records, and log and nonconformance reports. Strong document control, maintenance skills and a sound understanding of fabrication practices, technical requirements and specifications. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of  ASME Code Sections, NBIC Codes, MTR, NDE, WPS and PQR Records applicable to this position. High School Diploma or equivalent vocational degree in design is preferred along with good written and oral communication skills. Please send your resume and professional references to: don@mrlynden.com   MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
