If you bring these qualities to your work, then we'd like you to consider joining our team.Under general direction, ensures compliance with federal, state and localenvironmental and occupational safety regulatory requirements through the creation,implementation and auditing of compliance-related policies and Standard Operating Procedures(SOP), and administration of assigned programs in coordination with other functional areas. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies andprocedures, state, federal and local laws. Responsible for ensuring that all Company facilities are in compliance with federal, state,local and corporate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements. Establishes compliance-related policies and procedures based on EHS requirements.Creates, promotes, administers and reviews EHS related programs. Responsible for the training of employees on EHS related topics. Represent the Company to outside agencies, media and auditors on EHS relatedmatters. Maintains regulatory documentation and records. Reviews and assists in the development of new facilities and processes to ensureoptimum EHS practices are integrated as part of the change. May oversee, participate in and approve the interviewing, hiring, and training ofdepartmental employees. May conduct performance evaluation for direct reports. May provide coaching and assistance to direct reports in the areas of disciplinary action,employee training, problem resolution and work assignment delegation. Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules andregulations.
