Midwest Senior World Class Manufacturing Engineer - to $100K

 

A Midwest-based global corporation engaged in the manufacture of agricultural and forest products vehicles and equipment seeks a World Class Manufacturing Engineer for its Power Electronics Manufacturing Center of Excellence.

 

World Class Manufacturing Engineer will investigate, analyze and implement new manufacturing technologies ensuring incorporation of the latest and most productive World Class Manufacturing and Quality Methods and Machines for the Company's Power Electronics Manufacturing Center of Excellence.

 Be manufacturing expert for all power electronics products.Serve as the manufacturing representative on multi-functional product development teams responsible for ensuring that the product design meets all production requirements (DFM/DFA) and all customer quality and delivery expectations.Perform process capability studies on equipment, tooling, and processes implementing corrective actions when required.Develop and maintain FMEAs used to create control plans and drive mistake proofing.Develop, implement and maintain assembly process/methods for assigned products including line design, line/material layout (5S), and tooling requirements and designs.Develop and maintain labor standards ensuring efficiency/productivity goals are met.Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as Manufacturing Work Instructions and Bill of Materials.

 

Must have BSME/EE and 7 plus years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in high current and high voltage power electronics field.

 Knowledge of World Class Quality Systems/Methods: ISO-9001, Six Sigma (Certification preferred), DFM/DFA, FMEA, and Mistake Proofing.Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing Methods: Lean/Flow Principles.Knowledge of line and process design, cycles of imbalance, material presentation, visual management, and tooling design.Experience using engineering tools, systems and databases; Microsoft Office Products; and computer design/modeling software.
