Module Manufacturing Engineer #2025

This position will be responsible for helping with the development of solar module manufacturing processes and process equipment such as cell testing processes, wet chemical processes, automated and semi-automated wiring and screen printing processes, lamination processes, etc…. This position will be required to initiate design concepts, design FMEAs, and process FMEAs for various solar module manufacturing processes. The Module Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and revising SOP for the manufacturing procesess, as well as assisting in the development of a maintenance and control program.

Job Responsibilities

· Responsible for initiating concept and design efforts for module manufacturing processes and following through to equipment installation and commissioning
· Lead and assist in the evaluation of manufacturing line performance
· Assist or lead in audits of the manufacturing line Responsible for preparing and revising Standard Operation Procedures(SOP) for thin film solar cell materials & module manufacturing
· Additional duties as requested by Module Manufacturing supervisor

Job Requirements

· More than 2 years hands-on working experience in solar, electronics, or materials engineering environment
· Preferred BS degree in Engineering
· Other electronic, electrical, mechanical, equipment and process
experience would be required
· Ability to work without constant, direct supervision
· Hands-on equipment design and fabrication experience would be
preferred
