THE NEED

 

We are seeking a candidate to become the Municipal Services Group Manager.  This is an opportunity to join this organization at a top level.  These positions are not typically available to personnel from outside the firm. This individual will be responsible for providing team and project leadership for the engineering and design of a wide range of municipal projects including water/wastewater, infrastructure support, and various public facilities.  The group includes three different departments and up to 50 people.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals, in a well-established company, with a strong reputation for successful projects and for being a great place to work. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and management guidance to internal team members, development of group resources, interfacing daily with clients, preparing written reports and overall group business planning and execution.  This person in this position will have the opportunity to make a difference with a firm that can provide a long term career.

REQUIREMENTS

 

THIS POSITION REQUIRES A PE LICENSE AND CURRENT EXPERIENCE MANAGING MUNICIPAL,  WATER/WASTEWATER, AND/OR TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS.  PLEASE DO NOT REPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS.

 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record providing municipal engineering personnel management as well as technical engineering management. We want a highly motivated individual with a BS degree in civil engineering, 12 - 20 years of stable experience, and strong understanding civil engineering business management.  Strong project management, project execution, and marketing skills are needed with proven success in a multi-discipline organization. The position requires a Nevada PE license or the ability to become licensed within 6 months.  The right individual will have the ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff of all levels.  This is a demanding position that offers tremendous opportunity and rewards for success.  There is an excellent total compensation and benefit package waiting for you.
