NEPA Project Manager

NAVARRO RESEARCH & ENGINEERING, INC., a small business leader in engineering services, is currently recruiting individuals with for the following position:

NEPA Project Manager

This position requires someone who can take a leadership role in managing NEPA tasks and successfully developing new NEPA business. Requires the ability to manage the entire process for NEPA reviews at the EIS, EA, and Categorical Exclusion levels. More specifically, the position involves interacting with clients in terms of process management and providing them with guidance and advice on complying with NEPA and related statutes and authorities (e.g., Section 106 of the Historic Preservation Act, Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act, Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, the Executive Order on Environmental Justice, etc). The position requires managing: agency consultation, public involvement process, and the comment-response process, and document production. It also requires managing multidisciplinary teams and developing and monitoring project budgets and schedules.


Qualified candidates for the Senior NEPA Program Manager position should have 7-10 years of experience marketing NEPA work, writing and managing proposals, including cost proposals. Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required; Master's Degree preferred. Candidates should possess strong writing and interpersonal skills.
