National Sales Manager for Leading Manufacturer of HVAC Equipment

 

 

Leading manufacturer of water source heat pumps and HVAC equipment seeks results-oriented sales and marketing professional.

As National Sales Manager you will work closely with President and Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities include managing, directing and motivating regional territory managers and sales representatives. Customers include nationwide network of HVAC wholesale/distributors, plus international accounts. Market includes industrial, commercial and residential sales.

Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, mechanical aptitude, thorough knowledge of PowerPoint, presentation skills, and experience in conducting training seminars. 60% travel.

Experience:


Minimum 5 years’ sales and management experience with good mechanical aptitude.

 

 

Education:

 

BS or ME degree from an accredited college. MBA preferred.

 

 

Communication Skills:

 

The successful candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. Frequent sales product presentations to national accounts, engineers, architects, distributors, and HVAC contractors. Thorough PowerPoint knowledge and presentation skills required.


Business Planning Skills:

You will be required to prepare strategic marketing plans, sales forecasts, advertising budgets, financial analyses, and comprehensive customer service plans.


Opportunities:

Company sales are on a fast track due to the recent spike in energy costs. We sell renewable energy systems that are friendly to the environment, and offer substantial operating cost savings vs. natural gas and other fossil fuels. Equity position or stock option if you are successful. Five-year plan to bring company public.
